I read about Truffle, a maker of brilliant clear pouches that fit inside larger bags, on George & Ruby. A pouch is somewhat distinct from a cosmetic bag and a clutch, though it could be used as either. I think these utilitarian chic Truffle pouches are just what I need to better organize my large black hole of a tote bag.
Here are some other fun options I found. The may not be as transparent or practical as the pouches from Truffle, but they seem guaranteed to induce a smile:

Oh so true. Rebecca Minkoff.
Look closely: it’s Karl! His poses crack me up. I’d love to have this! KARL.
Do you carry a big bag? If so, do you use pouches to stay organized?
Even in my smaller purses, I have a hard time finding things! I have been good about keeping a cosmetics bag but then there’s still other loose “stuff” floating around. The clear is very practical but I also love the whimsical styles too!
Ah, I’ve forgotten the benefit of pouches in a large bag! Although I get a kick out of saying, “let me just dig into the depths of my bag” when faced with a bouncer, it’s not quite efficient, (nor becoming). Although I was never a big fan of the transparent bag, (a 90’s trend that seems to have endured), Truffle’s clear pouches are certainly a “hidden helper”. You found some other cool options. I really liked that “pop” kate spade one, it looks like a good size and I enjoy her playful, colorful style. But I might have to go with the one from Karl, which is oh-so-klever 😉
Thank you for your comments, Traveler and SweetTalker. SweetTalker, thank you for reminding us of the transparent bag. I like your description of the Truffle bag as a “hidden helper.” Thank you for your comments and your wit.
